Zion National Park
Beautiful hike through Zion National Park. Chipmunks were jumping from under the feet.
Another short hike at sunrise – watching the shadow crawl off the valley.
Lick Wash Canyon
A canyon carved in Sandstone. Filled with butterflies, lizards, birds (one dead one at the bottom of the canyon) and even petroglyphs.
Bryce National Park
A walk among the giants at dusk.
Shenandoah National Park
May 30th, 2008
I spent this Memorial Day weekend at Shenandoah National Park. The weather was perfect, and although I didn’t run into any bears this time (I don’t know if its good or bad…) I’ve seen plenty of other wildlife.
Day 1: Appalachian Trail at sunset
Day 2: South River Falls Trail, Doyles River Falls Trail
Day 3: Big Meadows, Appalachian Trail, Stony Man Summit at sunset
Day 4: Lewis Falls Trail
